Job summary

MTC Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking an IT support professional for day-to-day IT operations in a Singapore location. The role covers hardware, software, Windows, Microsoft 365, and basic networking, with AD/GP management and vendor coordination.

This 1 year contract is renewable and convertible to permanent. You will join a Commonwealth-area team and work standard hours, with a performance bonus potential and basic up to 6,000 SGD per month.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT or related field.
• Prior IT support or helpdesk experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware, software and network issues.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Assist with LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS troubleshooting.
• Support Sophos Firewall administration and troubleshooting.
• Manage Active Directory tasks, including user accounts and Group Policy.
• Set up and maintain computers and IT equipment.
• Onboard/offboard employees and maintain inventory.

Working Hours: Mon - Fri (8.30am-5.30pm)

Location: Commonwealth

1 year contract (Renewable) - Convertible to Permanent

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware, software, Windows, Microsoft 365, network, and user-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
• Perform basic LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and network troubleshooting.
• Assist with Sophos Firewall administration and troubleshooting.
• Manage basic Active Directory tasks, including user accounts, password resets, permissions, domain access, and Group Policy.
• Set up, deploy, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective.
• Maintain IT hardware/software inventory and basic system documentation.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors on quotations, procurement, repairs, warranties, and support cases.
• Escalate complex technical issues when required and ensure IT systems remain operational and properly maintained.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Previous experience in IT support, helpdesk, desktop support, or an IT infrastructure environment would be an advantage.
