Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in finance-related field.
Extensive experience in Investment Operations, Middle Office, Custody Operations, or Asset Management Operations.
Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management, settlement, cash management and reconciliations.
Experience operating within a controlled asset management environment.
Experience managing operational risk frameworks, controls, and audit engagements.

Responsibilities

Provide subject matter expertise and end-to-end operational support across Singapore Investment Operations activities.
Support portfolio managers with day-to-day operational requirements and issue resolution.
Serve as the escalation point for operational issues impacting portfolios, investment teams, and clients.
Ensure timely and accurate execution of investment operational processes across multiple asset classes and investment products.
Oversee and provide escalation support to teams in Hong Kong and Manila managing trade lifecycle activities.
Liaise with custodians, brokers, counterparties, and internal stakeholders to facilitate efficient trade processing.
Maintain oversight of cash management activities and reporting to support portfolio liquidity requirements.
Review and resolve complex cash, position, and transaction reconciliation breaks and operational discrepancies.
Support new fund launches and coordinate institutional client onboarding activities.
Prepare and review internal and external operational reports.
Respond to operational queries from investment teams, custodians, auditors, and external partners.
Build and maintain relationships across investment, risk, compliance, finance, and service provider teams.
Maintain a robust operational risk and control environment by identifying risks, control gaps, and implementing mitigation actions.
Support internal audits, regulatory reviews, and control testing activities.
Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, operating model enhancements, and implementation of new systems and regulatory requirements.
