Job summary

SMTP Consult Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a senior operations professional to build and manage the investment office's operating infrastructure.

The role supports portfolio analytics, broker coordination, and regulatory filing coordination, with duties limited to implementing instructions and documenting processes. You will design controls, maintain dashboards, and ensure robust audit trails, reporting to the Principal/CIO.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of experience in family office, hedge fund, asset manager, or similar investment operations.
• Strong knowledge of public-market instruments, broker reporting, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with private banks, brokers, custodians, and prime brokers; relationship management.
• Advanced Excel and data reconciliation; ability to design robust operational controls.
• Fluent English; Singapore-based with ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare portfolio analytics across listed equities, ETFs, options, cash, and margin facilities.
• Maintain dashboards covering exposure, margin, liquidity, and collateral.
• Coordinate trade implementation under CIO instructions and maintain audit trails.
• Coordinate regulatory filings and reporting with external counsel/advisers and filing agents.
• Design and implement maker-checker controls for payments, transfers, and trade records.
