Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a Claims professional in Singapore to liaise with policyholders, intermediaries, investigators and other stakeholders on claims matters. You will handle claims promptly, clinically assess reserves and provide insights to underwriters to close gaps in policy wording.

You will train claims assistants, conduct client visits, review files, and pursue recoveries as needed, ensuring service standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with policyholders, intermediaries, investigators, surveyors, loss adjusters, lawyers, third-party claimants and other stakeholders on claims matters.
• Handle and process claims promptly, professionally and fairly in accordance with service standards and established procedures.
• Assess and update claims reserves accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide claims-related insights to underwriters, highlighting policy wording gaps and recommending risk improvement measures.
• Train and guide claims assistants in their daily support duties.
• Conduct client visits and attend meetings when required.
• Review claims files periodically to ensure proper handling and follow-up.
• Monitor and pursue recovery claims to ensure timely follow-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
