Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or IT operations management.

• Demonstrated disaster recovery planning and business continuity experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work across teams.
• Experience mentoring and leading technical teams.
• Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or CompTIA Security+ certifications.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our organization in Singapore. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of our critical IT infrastructure systems. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability of our infrastructure while mentoring junior team members and driving operational excellence across the organization.

Purpose

Serve as the focal point for operational readiness, governance, coordination, process management, testing oversight, and stakeholder engagement across project teams, operations teams, customers, and supporting delivery functions. The role ensures smooth execution of operational initiatives, readiness activities, and change implementations while maintaining alignment with agreed processes and governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Governance & Coordination

• Act as the primary coordination point for operational and project-related activities.
• Track action items, owners, and due dates across meetings and governance forums.
• Drive follow-up actions and ensure timely closure of outstanding items.
• Escalate risks, issues, and dependencies when required.

Process & SOP Management

• Develop, review, maintain, and track operational SOPs and work instructions.
• Coordinate reviews with stakeholders and customers.
• Ensure operational processes remain current and aligned with governance requirements.
• Consolidate feedback and drive closure of process review comments.

Operational Readiness

• Coordinate readiness activities for infrastructure, application, and operational changes.
• Facilitate readiness reviews and implementation planning.
• Support transition and rollout activities.

Testing Coordination

• Coordinate testing activities between project, infrastructure, and application teams.
• Track testing readiness, completion status, issues, and mitigation plans.
• Facilitate discussions relating to test coverage, schedules, and operational impacts.
• Ensure appropriate approvals and sign-offs are obtained before implementation

Risk & Issue Management

• Maintain visibility of project and operational risks.
• Track mitigation plans and issue resolution activities.
• Prepare updates for governance reviews and management discussions.
• Highlight matters requiring management attention

Qualifications and Experience

• Due to government project sensitivity, we will only consider Singapore Citizen
• 7+ years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or IT operations management
• 3+ years in a senior, lead, or architect-level infrastructure role
• Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITIL) frameworks and best practices
• Demonstrated experience in disaster recovery planning and business continuity management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively across teams
• Experience mentoring and leading technical teams
• Preferred: Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or CompTIA Security+
