Job summary

NCS Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer, Systems to design, implement and maintain scalable infrastructure across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will ensure performance, reliability and security while coordinating with cross‑functional teams.

The role requires 3+ years in systems administration, Linux/Windows server expertise, cloud experience, scripting, and strong documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows server administration.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V, or KVM).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Splunk, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure systems across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Manage and optimize virtualization platforms, ensuring efficient resource allocation and system performance.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance and health using monitoring and logging tools; analyze metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues systematically and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Administer Linux and Windows servers, ensuring security patches, updates, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Manage containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and orchestration.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure infrastructure meets application requirements.
• Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures in a clear and organized manner.
• Participate in incident response activities and contribute to disaster recovery planning and testing.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Infrastructure Engineer, Systems to join our organization in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust infrastructure systems that support our organization's operations. You will work with cutting-edge technologies to ensure optimal system performance, reliability, and security while demonstrating a systematic and organized approach to infrastructure management.
