Job summary

NCS is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer, Systems in Singapore to design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will manage virtualization, IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration, while ensuring security, reliability, and performance across Linux/Windows servers.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering, strong scripting skills, and hands-on expertise with Terraform,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows server administration.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V, or KVM).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Splunk, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure systems across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Manage and optimize virtualization platforms, ensuring efficient resource allocation and system performance.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Ansible to automate provisioning and configuration.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance and health using monitoring and logging tools; analyze metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues systematically and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Administer Linux and Windows servers, ensuring security patches and compliance.
• Manage containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and orchestration.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure infrastructure meets application requirements.
• Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures clearly; participate in incident response and disaster recovery planning.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Infrastructure Engineer, Systems to join our organization in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust infrastructure systems that support our organization's operations. You will work with cutting-edge technologies to ensure optimal system performance, reliability, and security while demonstrating a systematic and organized approach to infrastructure management.

• Monitor system performance and health using monitoring and logging tools; analyze metrics to identify optimization opportunities
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues systematically and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime
• Administer Linux and Windows servers, ensuring security patches, updates, and compliance with organizational standards
• Manage containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and orchestration
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure infrastructure meets application requirements
• Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures in a clear and organized manner
• Participate in incident response activities and contribute to disaster recovery planning and testing
• Stay current with infrastructure technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

• 3+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows server administration
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing)
