Job summary

NCS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our enterprise network, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.

You will lead initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate to integrate cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP) with on-prem systems, while documenting configurations and best practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional network engineering experience.
• 3+ years in a senior-level network engineering role.
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals and network protocols.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise routing and switching platforms (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or equivalent).
• Proficiency with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools and technologies.
• Strong understanding of network security principles, firewall management, and VPN technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-level network architectures that support organizational growth and scalability.
• Configure and optimize routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) across multiple network segments.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control policies.
• Monitor network performance using industry-standard tools and analyze data to identify optimization opportunities.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently and document solutions for future reference.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud networking solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) with on-premises infrastructure.
• Maintain comprehensive network documentation and configuration management systems.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior network engineers and support staff.
• Conduct regular network assessments and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and security.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure. • Proficiency with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools and technologies
• Strong understanding of network security principles, firewall management, and VPN technologies
• Experience designing and implementing VoIP and unified communications solutions
• Demonstrated ability to work with cloud networking platforms and hybrid network environments
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Organized approach to project management and technical documentation

Preferred

• Experience with network automation and scripting languages (Python, Ansible)
• Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) concepts and implementations
• Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (ITIL)
• Leadership experience and proven ability to mentor technical teams

Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
