Job summary

Citigroup, Inc. is seeking an Implementation Manager/ Project Manager to oversee highly complex client projects in cash management and trade products.

This role will coordinate a portfolio of cluster/global client projects, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction. The candidate should have 10+ years in client management and project roles, with strong knowledge of cash/trade products, excellent stakeholder skills, and PM certification as an advantage.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of client management and project/implementation experience.
• Proficiency in Japanese language is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of cash and trade products and related processes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for influencing and negotiating with stakeholders.
• PM certification (PMP or Prince2) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of cluster/global client projects, typically 10–20 depending on scope.
• Ensure timely delivery and total client satisfaction within guidelines and timeframes.
• Advise the client on project structure and tailor the solution to requirements.
• Serve as the primary client interface, coordinating internal and external activities.
• Support Sales by participating in deal teams for client pitches.
• Comply with audits, regulatory and compliance directives.
• Identify and escalate issues using formal tracking channels and resolve them.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and control improvements and implement them.
• Manage projects for Japan-based Corporate and Institutional clients.
