Job summary

The Ministry of Home Affairs in Singapore seeks an HR leader to drive business partnership, performance management and career development, partnering MHQ and HTDs to build a high performing, motivated workforce.

You will develop HR policies, coordinate internal communications, manage events and oversee grievance and disciplinary processes to uphold integrity and trust across the Home Team.

Qualifications

• Experience providing HR advisory to stakeholders.
• End-to-end HR operations including recruitment and promotions.
• Policy development and employee communications.
• Discipline and integrity in handling sensitive matters.
• Ability to plan events and coordinate with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Business partnership: advise stakeholders and deliver HR operations addressing manpower needs.
• Performance management: drive annual appraisal, ranking and promotion exercises.
• Awards: oversee MHQ awards matters.
• Policy development: review and develop HR operations policies.
• Internal communications: prepare materials and organise dialogues on performance and career development.
• Event management: plan ceremonies and coordinate with vendors for engagement videos.
• Discipline: uphold integrity and ensure fair, expeditious discipline.
