Job summary

FairPrice Group seeks a Senior Manager/Manager for Fresh in-store operations to elevate store performance, quality standards, and excellence across Fruits & Vegetables, Meat and Fish & Seafood, and Ready-to-Eat.

Responsibilities include monitoring performance, leading shrink-management, developing SOPs, training counter staff, and coordinating store setup for openings and renovations. Strong leadership across multiple stores is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Fresh operations or store management.
• Strong understanding of Fresh quality standards, counter operations, and food handling requirements.
• Ability to coach, influence, and work with frontline teams across multiple stores.
• Analytical skills to interpret sales, shrink, and operational data.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• High attention to detail with a passion for operational excellence and customer experience.
• Problem solving skill, pro-actively identifying solutions to in-store issues

Responsibilities

• In-store Fresh Performance: monitor sales, margin, shrink, and labour; troubleshoot issues with store teams.
• Lead shrink-management efforts with root-cause analysis and store-specific interventions.
• Drive counter performance through operational excellence, ranging optimisation, and sales mindset.
• Gather and consolidate customer and frontline feedback on Fresh; communicate insights to functions.
• Quality, Compliance & Process Governance: develop checklists for Fresh compliance checks; verify quality and SOP adherence during visits.
• SOP, Process & Training Development: contribute to SOPs, pilot processes, deliver training, coaching.
• Fresh Setup & Store Projects: coordinate Fresh setup for new stores and renovations; support cross-functional projects.
