Job summary

FairPrice Group is seeking a Store Operations Manager in Singapore to oversee front and back-end store operations, drive profitability, and support the Group Manager with project management. You will lead a team, manage stock, promote spaces, and ensure quality and safety standards across the store.

The role requires a degree and at least 3 years in service/retail, with strong leadership, planning, and communication skills to deliver excellent customer service and results.

Qualifications

• Degree in any discipline with at least 3 years of relevant service/retail experience.
• Strong strategic thinking and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer-oriented, meticulous and results driven.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets, maximise profitability and set/meet sales targets.
• Analyse and interpret trends to facilitate planning.
• Lead and motivate the team to achieve organizational goals.
• Handle customer complaints, compliments and feedback.
• Manage stock inventory and stock control.
• Plan and manage promotional spaces and activities.
• Recruit, train, supervise and appraise staff.
• Plan and perform biannual stocktakes for the store.
• Ensure standards for quality, customer service, health and safety, and compliance with NEA/SFA/SCDF.
• Continuously review and enhance store operations and processes.
• Involve in projects such as planning for new store openings and renovations.
