Job summary

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned engineer to support customers and debug security firmware for SSD products. You will serve as the primary technical escalation point, guide configurations, and validate security feature implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer or electrical engineering.
• 5+ years in a customer-facing engineering role.
• Embedded security knowledge including cryptography basics and secure firmware update.
• Familiarity with storage security standards (Opal, Enterprise SSC, NVMe security).
• Proficient in C/C++, Rust; Python scripting experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical escalation point for Security Firmware on SSD products; triage and drive issues to closure.
• Guide customers through security feature configuration, integration, and validation.
• Reproduce issues in the lab; analyze firmware logs, traces, and deliver root-cause reports.
• Develop, test, and validate targeted Security Firmware changes and configurations.
• Support audits, security questionnaires, and certification activities (TCG, FIPS, CC).
• Represent Micron in technical engagement with customer teams and manage escalation status.
