Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer in Singapore to respond to client requests and troubleshoot hardware and software issues. You will travel to client sites or connect remotely to resolve problems, install and upgrade hardware, and train users.

Strong OS knowledge and communication skills are essential. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or IT and proven experience in desktop support.

Qualifications

• Must have proven desktop support experience.
• Strong hardware knowledge: CPUs, memory, peripherals.
• Familiar with Windows, macOS, and common software applications.
• Experience with remote support tools and VPN access.
• Willingness to travel and work after hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client support requests and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Travel to client sites or connect via remote link to resolve problems.
• Install, maintain and upgrade hardware and computer peripherals and operating systems.
• Troubleshoot networking and connection issues and advise on upgrades.
• Provide basic training and complete job reports.
