Zusammenfassung

Servomex is seeking a Senior Service Engineer to support semiconductor customers across Singapore, with primary field service duties and occasional workshop work at our facility. You will perform commissioning, maintenance, repairs and technical support while building strong customer relationships.

The role requires hands-on engineering skills, strong problem-solving, and the ability to travel regularly. Safety‑driven, customer‑facing and OEM‑standard work are key expectations.

Qualifikationen

• A strong technical background in gas analysis/gas analysis systems/instrumentation.
• Business English – both spoken and written.
• Experience within or exposure to the semiconductor industry would be hugely advantageous.
• Practical, hands‑on engineering experience with strong troubleshooting and fault‑finding capability.
• Confidence working independently at customer sites and within manufacturing environments.
• A genuine customer-service mindset and the ability to build strong working relationships.
• Clear communication skills and the confidence to explain technical issues to customers.
• A safety‑focused and methodical approach to your work.
• The ability and willingness to travel regularly across Singapore, working between customer locations and our Servomex facility.
• Flexibility around your working pattern to support customer requirements, including occasional out‑of‑hours support.
• Willingness to undertake occasional international travel where required.
• Ideally, you’ll have previous team leadership, supervisory or people management experience, with the ability to support, guide and develop others.

Aufgaben

• Deliver field service activities as the primary focus of the role at our customer facilities, alongside workshop servicing and repairs as required.
• Carry out FAT, SAT, commissioning, servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs on Servomex analysers and systems, ensuring work is completed to OEM standards.
• Set up, calibrate and validate equipment and support control system integration where required.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, process and software issues using a structured and methodical approach, identifying appropriate corrective actions.
• Work directly with our semiconductor customers, building trusted relationships and providing a professional, responsive service.
• Prepare effectively for customer visits by reviewing the scope and requirements and ensuring the necessary tools, test equipment and spares are available.
