Job summary

MCI Career Services Pte Ltd is seeking an Event Manager in Singapore to lead end-to-end events, from concept to completion. The role requires strong project management, budgeting, and client-facing skills, with several major exhibitions, conferences, and roadshows in the pipeline.

You will coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and venues to ensure flawless delivery. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in events, excellent communication and organizational abilities, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, Hospitality or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in event management, exhibitions, conferences, or related industry.
• Project acumen: proven experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Core competencies: project management, communication, budgeting, stakeholder management.
• Technical skills: proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Bonus advantage: Class 3 driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Project Lifecycle Management: plan, coordinate, and execute exhibitions, conferences, and events from concept to completion.
• Client Relations: be the primary client contact, understand objectives, provide strategic event solutions.
• Planning & Scheduling: develop timelines, project plans, budgets, and production schedules.
• Stakeholder Coordination: coordinate with internal departments, vendors, venues, and suppliers.
• Financial Management: monitor budgets, quotations, POs, and event profitability.
• On-Site Operations: conduct site inspections and oversee setup, operations, and dismantling.
• Logistics & Manpower: manage logistics, manpower, transport, and equipment.
• Problem Solving: identify and resolve issues promptly for successful execution.
• Relationship Building: build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, suppliers.
• Post-Event Evaluation: prepare post-event reports and strategic recommendations.
• Compliance & Standards: ensure compliance with workplace safety and quality standards.
