Job summary

Trade-Pro Food Distribution Pte Ltd. in Tuas, Singapore, seeks a Senior Executive or Assistant Sales Manager to own and grow supermarket and online grocery accounts for Arla, Arla Pro, Lurpak and Castello.

You’ll manage listings, trading terms and promotions, collaborating closely with Arla’s team. Applicants should have 3–5 years in sales or key account management, a relevant diploma, and fluency in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Three to five years in sales or key account management in modern trade or ecommerce.
• Diploma in marketing, business, media or equivalent.
• English and Mandarin to work with Mandarin-speaking partners and associates.
• Comfortable in Microsoft Office, able to build a deck and present it.
• Self-motivated and comfortable owning a number.

Responsibilities

• Hold and grow the accounts we have, and open the ones we do not.
• Negotiate trading terms and own revenue, margin and new listings against a target.
• Plan campaigns above and below the line with Arla and the trade marketing team.
• Walk stores with the brand teams to read shelf intelligence beyond reports.
• Work with our ecommerce channel on campaigns that earn traffic and visibility.
• Assist head of department with analysis, forecasting and reporting.
• Be on the ground during peak festive periods, including warehouse coordination.
• Travel occasionally for trade shows and conferences.

You would carry the supermarket and online grocery accounts for Arla, Arla Pro, Lurpak and Castello in Singapore. That means the buyers at the major chains, the listings, the trading terms and the promotional calendar, working alongside Arla's own team rather than at arm's length from them.

It suits someone who wants the account to be theirs. You will not be waiting for a head office somewhere else to decide things, and the people who move the stock, clear the paperwork and drive the trucks are in the same building as you.

The role is scoped to the person. Whether it lands at senior executive or assistant manager depends on the experience you bring, and we will settle that between us at the interview rather than before it.
