Job summary

Singapore International Arbitration Centre is seeking a Marketing & Events Officer to conceptualise, plan and execute promotional activities and conferences, locally and overseas. You will handle a range of events across virtual, in-person and hybrid formats, coordinating registrations, venues, staging and vendor management.

The role covers producing event assets, supporting corporate communications and managing budgets to optimise resources.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Hands-on experience in supporting in-person, hybrid and virtual events.
• Demonstrated skills in problem-solving and stakeholder management.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Willing to travel regionally 2–3 times a year.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise, plan and execute promotion and outreach activities, including virtual, in-person and hybrid events.
• Support all aspects of events locally and overseas, including registration, venue selection and setup, and vendor management.
• Manage marketing and events budgets to ensure optimal resource utilisation.
• Support production of digital and visual assets (flyers, brochures, social posts) and content dissemination.
• Provide corporate communications and marketing administrative support.
• Undertake other tasks as assigned by the Reporting Officer.

Job description

• Conceptualise, plan and execute promotion and outreach activities, or other virtual, in-person and hybrid events
• Support all aspects of events and conferences, both locally and overseas, including overseeing the operational and logistical aspects of events (e.g. registration, venue selection and set up including staging and audio systems, and managing external vendors)
• Manage marketing and events budget, ensuring optimal utilisation of resources
• Support the production of digital and visual assets like event collaterals (flyers, brochures and marketing materials) and social media posts as well as content dissemination and amplification
• Provide corporate communications and marketing administrative support
• Undertake such other work as may be assigned by the Reporting Officer and organisation from time to time

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications with at least 3 years of relevant experience
• Able to work both independently and as a team
• Possess video editing and graphic design skills
• Good events and time management skills
• Hands-on experience in supporting in-person, hybrid and virtual events
• Demonstrated skills in problem-solving and stakeholder management
• Strong communication (both written and spoken) and interpersonal skills
• Able to travel regionally for events (2 to 3 times a year)
