Job summary

The role requires real-time visibility of logistics readiness, accurate documentation, and coordination with units and service providers. Strong organization and stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Education in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management or related discipline preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience preferred.
• Must have technical knowledge of enterprise Logistics IT systems.
• Organised and meticulous, with strong multitasking ability.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.

Job description

What the role is:

You are responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of supplies, equipment, and services necessary to support mission readiness and operational success. This role also involves critical oversight of inventory and transport support to ensure that units are adequately equipped and prepared for operations.

What you will be working on:

• Monitor and maintain real-time visibility of logistics readiness status
• Synchronise logistics plans, operational requirements and logistics resources to support routine activities and operations
• Ensure proper documentation for all inventory transactions, and maintaining accurate inventory records with information system
• Ensure real-time inventory levels, asset locations, and movement across various units
• Coordinate with requesting units to raise transport indents and acting as a liaison with service providers to ensure the timely provision of transport service
• Challenge(s) - Balancing competing operational requirements and maintaining accurate inventory accounting simultaneously
• Managing high volumes of inventory transactions and detecting errors amid a large volume of transactions

What we are looking for:

• Education in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline is preferred
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience is preferred
• Must have technical knowledge of enterprise Logistics IT systems
• Organised and meticulous
• Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively under time and resource constraints.
• Strong communication skills to communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders at different levels
