ST Logistics Pte Ltd seeks a Senior/Executive in Accounts Receivable to support the finance team with billing, data compilation and month-end close for audit readiness.

You will work with ERP systems (System Freight, SAP Hana), drive process improvements, and participate in automation and UAT for billing workflows.

A Diploma/ Degree in Business or Finance is required; experience in freight billing and high-volume transactions is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information systems or a related discipline.
• Experience with freight forwarding, billing, automation or system implementation welcomed.
• Familiar with ERP such as System Freight and SAP Hana.
• Able to handle high-volume transactions under tight reporting deadlines.
• Proficiency in digital projects is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform timely and accurate billing for Freight shipments.
• Support timely month-end billing closure and monthly reports.
• Monitor billing accuracy, outstanding jobs and KPIs.
• Contribute to digitalisation, AI projects and system enhancements.
• Support automated billing for Freight.
• Assist in automated checks between shipment data, customer rates and documents.
• Identify activities suitable for automation or testing.
• Participate in testing automation solutions and perform UAT.
• Validate system-generated billing recommendations and investigate exceptions.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce manual intervention and billing errors.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Senior / Executive (Accounts Receivable) - Finance supports the finance department in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department. He/she is involved in work that is specific to accounts receivable, data compilation, sales billing, vendor invoice posting and other accounting tasks. In some instances, he/she may work specifically with accruals and the monthly and yearly finalisation of accounts receivable account payable for audit purposes. The Senior / Executive (Accounts Receivable) - Finance assist with the preparation of monthly reporting, and close monitoring of debt collection or payment processing. He/ She may be called on to participate in ad-hoc finance-related projects, lead in continuous improvement projects and systems testing when necessary.

Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks

• Perform timely and accurate billing for Freight shipments
• Support timely month-end billing closure and preparation of monthly reports
• Monitor billing accuracy, outstanding jobs and other relevant billing KPIs
• Enthusiasm in digitalisation, AI, projects and system enhancements implementation
• Support the development and implementation of automated billing for Freight
• Assist in developing automated checks between shipment/job information, customer rate tables, quotations and supporting documents
• Identify billing activities suitable for automation, system validation or exception-based processing
• Participate in testing of automation solutions and system enhancements, including preparation of test scenarios and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Validate system-generated billing recommendations and investigate exceptions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manual intervention, billing errors and billing turnaround time
• Other ad-hoc duties, as assigned

Job Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information systems or a related discipline
• Candidates with other tertiary qualifications but strong relevant experience in freight forwarding, billing, automation or system implementation will also be considered
• Familar with ERP such as System Freight and SAP Hana
• Ability to work with high volume transcations and under tight reporting deadlines
• Proficiency in digital projects is a plus
