Job summary

st logistics pte. ltd. in Singapore invites a billing specialist to manage timely and accurate freight billing. You will monitor KPIs, support month-end close, and drive automation initiatives to reduce manual intervention.

The role involves developing automated checks, testing automation solutions, and supporting system enhancements. OT may be required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information systems or a related discipline
• ERP such as Sys Freight and SAP Hana
• Experience in freight forwarding, billing, automation or system implementation
• Preferred candidate with experience in handling large volume of transaction monthly
• Able to work in a fast pace environment
• Able to do OT as and when required

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and accurate billing for Freight shipments
• Support timely month-end billing closure and preparation of monthly reports
• Monitor billing accuracy, outstanding jobs and other relevant billing KPIs
• Enthusiasm in digitalisation, AI, projects and system enhancements implementation
• Support the development and implementation of automated billing for Freight
• Assist in developing automated checks between shipment/job information, customer ratetables, quotations and supporting documents
• Identify billing activities suitable for automation, system validation or exception-based processing
• Participate in testing of automation solutions and system enhancements, including preparation of test scenarios and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Validate system-generated billing recommendations and investigate exceptions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manual intervention, billing errors and billing turnaround time
• Other ad-hoc duties, as assigned

Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience

• Diploma/ Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information systems or a related discipline
• Candidates with other tertiary qualifications but strong relevant experience in freight forwarding, billing, automation or system implementation will also be considered
• ERP such as Sys Freight and SAP Hana
• Preferred candidate with experience in handling large volume of transaction monthly.
• Able to work in a fast pace environment.
• Able to do OT as and when required.
• Work location at 60 pioneer Road, Tuas
• Work days & hours : Monday - Friday, 8am - 5.30pm
