Job summary
ST Logistics Pte Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Senior / Executive - Finance (Accounts Receivable) to support the accounting team with AR duties, billing, and data-related tasks.
The role involves monthly reporting, debt collection monitoring, and potential participation in automation and system testing projects. The ideal candidate has a diploma/degree in finance or related fields with exposure to freight billing and ERP systems.
Qualifications
- Diploma/ Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related discipline required.
- Experience in freight forwarding, billing, automation or system implementation is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP Hana) and freight systems beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Perform timely and accurate billing for Freight shipments.
- Support timely month-end billing closure and preparation of monthly reports.
- Monitor billing accuracy, outstanding jobs and relevant billing KPIs.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for digitalisation, AI, projects and system enhancements.
- Support development and implementation of automated billing for Freight.
- Assist in developing automated checks between shipment data, customer rate tables, quotations and docs.
- Identify activities for automation, system validation or exception processing.
- Participate in testing of automation solutions and system enhancements (UAT).
- Validate system-generated billing recommendations and investigate exceptions.
- Drive continuous improvement to reduce manual intervention and billing errors/time.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
