Job description

[Contract Position]

This is a contract position that can be converted to a permanent role, subject to performance and divisional requirements.

Job Description

Accounts administration in compliance with SINDA’s Constitution, Financial Guidelines, and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards. Preparation of accurate management reports to facilitate effective decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Review and validate Purchase Orders, Invoices, and Goods Received Notes in NetSuite
  • Process all modes of payment transactions per the approved expenditure authorisation matrix and the SFRS
  • Manage donation and donation-in-kind administration in accordance with relevant regulations (IRAS, IPC, etc.)
  • Manage voucher administration
  • Process month-end accounts closing and prepare monthly audit schedules
  • Manage internal and external audits as required
  • Participate in divisional and SINDA-wide events when required
  • Any other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer (RO) and Head of Department (HOD)
Qualification & Requirements
  • Minimum Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, such as Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in NetSuite and TenderBoard would be an advantage
  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and sustain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at various levels
  • Meticulous with a good work attitude
