Job summary

Adecco Personnel Pte Ltd (Staffing) is seeking a motivated Executive, Operations to support mall operations and facilities management at a premier Singapore retail complex. You will work with the Operations Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day performance.

This role covers budgeting, AEIs, tenant fit-outs, and coordinating maintenance and safety initiatives, with on-site duties at Clark Quay/Fort Canning. The position is a 2-year contract, 8:30 AM–6:00 PM, five days including weekends.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in facilities/building/property/m mall operations advantageous.
• Strong initiative, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Manager in mall operations and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate operational programmes and maintenance works for efficient mall operation.
• Prepare annual operating budgets and administer maintenance contracts with expenditure oversight.
• Assist AEIs, tenant fit-out and renovation works, and operational support for promotions/marketing.
• Collaborate with Contracts and Procurement for equipment, replacements and upgrades.
• Manage feedback, inquiries and service requests timely and professionally.
• Lead and supervise technicians, contractors and service providers to ensure service quality.
• Participate in the Company's Emergency Response Team as needed.
• Support EHS initiatives including permits-to-work, risk assessments and safety audits.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated and resourceful Executive, Operations to support the operations and maintenance of a retail mall. In this role, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure the smooth functioning of the property, maintain high standards of facilities management, and support tenant and shopper experience.

• Salary: Up to $5,000
• Working hours: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM, 5 days including weekends
• 2 year contract (subjected to renewal or conversion)

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Manager in the effective management of mall operations and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate operational programmes and maintenance works to ensure the mall operates efficiently and effectively.
• Prepare annual operating budgets and administer maintenance contracts, while monitoring expenditures to support operational requirements.
• Assist in the implementation of Asset Enhancement Initiatives (AEIs), tenant fit-out and renovation works, and operational support for promotional and marketing activities.
• Work closely with the Contracts and Procurement team on the procurement of equipment, cyclical replacements, and enhancement projects.
• Manage and respond to feedback, enquiries, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Lead and supervise technicians, contractors, and service providers to ensure service delivery meets operational and professional standards.
• Participate in the Company's Emergency Response Team where appointed and trained (e.g. Site Incident Controller, First Aider).
• Support Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives, including the review and approval of permits-to-work, risk assessments, and safety inspections/audits.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), Real Estate, Facilities Management, Building Management, Estate Management, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in facilities, building, property, or mall operations will be advantageous.
• Strong initiative, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work within tight timelines.
• Resourceful and systematic in addressing operational issues and challenges.
• Willing to support operational requirements outside standard working hours when necessary.
