Job summary

ADECCO PERSONNEL PTE LTD is seeking a Mall Operations/Facilities Manager in Singapore to oversee daily mall operations, maintenance, AEIs and vendor performance for smooth, compliant operations. The role involves budgeting, contract administration and coordinating refurbishment projects within a retail environment.

You will supervise technicians and contractors, respond to tenant and stakeholder enquiries, and support EHS initiatives while ensuring regulatory and company policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Management, Real Estate, Estate Management, or related field.
• Experience in facilities management, building operations or retail mall operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Manager in day-to-day mall operations and maintenance.
• Coordinate programmes and maintenance works for smooth mall operations.
• Prepare operating budgets, administer contracts and monitor expenditures.
• Assist AEIs, tenant fit-outs, renovations, and events support.
• Collaborate on equipment procurement, replacement programmes and enhancements.
• Manage tenant, shopper and stakeholder feedback and service requests.
• Supervise technicians, contractors and service providers for standards.
• Participate in emergency response activities when trained.
• Support EHS initiatives including permit-to-work reviews, risk assessments, safety inspections and audits.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Manager in the day-to-day management of mall operations and maintenance activities.


• Coordinate operational programmes and maintenance works to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the mall.


• Prepare annual operating budgets, administer maintenance contracts, and monitor expenditures.


• Assist in the implementation of Asset Enhancement Initiatives (AEIs), tenant fit-out works, renovation projects, and operational support for marketing events.


• Collaborate with the Contracts and Procurement team on equipment procurement, cyclical replacement programmes, and enhancement works.


• Manage and respond to tenant, shopper, and stakeholder feedback, enquiries, and service requests in a timely manner.


• Supervise technicians, contractors, and service providers to ensure compliance with operational and service standards.


• Participate in emergency response activities when appointed and trained.


• Support Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives, including permit-to-work reviews, risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits.


• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and company policies.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related disciplines), Facilities Management, Building Management, Real Estate, Estate Management, or a related field.


• Relevant experience in facilities management, building operations, property management, or retail mall operations will be advantageous.
