Senior Event Manager

As a Senior Event Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the seamless execution of a variety of MICE projects. You’ll be a key player in orchestrating a diverse portfolio of projects, overseeing everything from concept to completion. You will work on simultaneous projects, managing the full scope of development, planning, production, operations, execution, and delivery of events.

What You’ll be Doing

• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to develop successful and memorable events.


• Develop and present comprehensive event proposals, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables.


• Conduct and lead internal and external briefings and work-in-progress meetings.


• Allocate tasks and manage the team to ensure all project timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.


• Facilitate creative direction, including the digital elements of events.


• Manage, track, and report on all event budgets, from initial preparation to final reconciliation.


• Source, evaluate, and manage venues and suppliers, including client-nominated venues and partners.


• Prepare, reconcile, and present partial and final billings for both clients and suppliers.


• Oversee event data management, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and accurate reporting.


• Ensure client needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.


• Provide effective support and mentorship to your team.


• Take on other responsibilities as needed to support business objectives.

What We're Looking For

• A seasoned leader with a minimum of 7 years of experience directing the full lifecycle of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) events or a related field, from ideation and strategic planning to flawless execution.


• Expert in client and supplier relations, consistently building and nurturing relationships that translate into long-term trust, loyalty, and repeat business.


• A proactive problem solver and analytical thinker who anticipates challenges and designs innovation, impactful solutions to deliver exceptional event outcomes.


• Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, meticulously overseeing timelines, budgets, and deliverables with a keen eye for detail.


• Skilled in inspiring and uniting teams, fostering a collaborative environment that consistently delivers remarkable results under pressure.


• Strong command of data management and compliance, ensuring all projects are executed with precision and adherence to regulations.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
