Job summary

MICE Depot in Singapore is seeking an experienced Event Manager to lead a range of MICE projects, overseeing strategy, planning, production, and flawless delivery. You will collaborate with our team to ensure events meet client visions and exceed expectations.

The role focuses on hybrid, live, and virtual events with hands-on involvement from proposal to post-event evaluation, budget management, and onsite coordination. Strong communication and meticulous organization are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in the MICE industry or related field.
• Proven track record managing hybrid, live, and virtual events.
• Excellent planning, organisational, and client relations skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, budgets, and deliverables with attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication; proficient with MS Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Participate in external and internal project management activities and work-in-progress meetings.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing day-to-day needs for hybrid, live, and virtual events.
• Cultivate strong working relationships with clients, venues, and suppliers.
• Co-ordinate all aspects of the event management process, from ideation to execution.
• Develop comprehensive event proposals, including timelines, budgets, venue and supplier details, and staffing plans.
• Ensure timely dissemination of all project documentation to relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct pre and post-event evaluations, reporting on outcomes and taking initiative with implementing improvements.
• Manage onsite production crews, suppliers, and temporary staff effectively.
• Co-ordinate with and manage venues and suppliers.
• Ensure client needs and expectations are not just met, but exceeded.
• Provide effective support and mentorship to junior team members.
• Perform other related duties as required to meet business needs.

What We're Looking For

• Excellent planning, organisational, and client relations skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, budgets, and deliverables with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
