Job summary

Singtel in Singapore is hiring for a Network Support role focused on Voice Access infrastructure. You will diagnose faults, support network upgrades, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet service targets.

The ideal candidate holds a Nitec in Computer Networking / IT, has Linux know-how, strong troubleshooting, and good communication skills. CCNA is a plus; candidates should be able to work independently and in teams.

Qualifications

• Nitec in Computer Networking / Information Technology is required.
• CCNA certification is an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems and administration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot Voice Access network infrastructure to ensure business objectives and network reliability targets are achieved.
• Perform fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution activities.
• Support project implementation and network upgrades.
• Collaborate with Transmission and cross-functional teams to resolve network issues.
• Manage and respond to BAU operational requests from internal stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to processes.
• Participate in standby and on-call duties.

Make an impact by:

• Support and troubleshoot Voice Access network infrastructure to ensure business objectives and network reliability targets are achieved.

• Manage and respond to 24x7 Business As Usual (BAU) operational requests from internal stakeholders, ensuring service level commitments are met.
• Support, maintain, and administer telecommunications and IT equipment to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Participate in standby and on-call duties, including responding to after-hours activations and critical incidents.
• Maintain operational documentation and adhere to established processes and procedures.
• Perform any other duties and assignments as assigned by the Manager.
