Job summary

Singtel Group is seeking a Senior Engineering Officer on a 1 year contract to support and troubleshoot Voice Access network infrastructure, ensuring reliability and business objectives are met. The role involves fault diagnosis, project support, and collaboration with Transmission and other teams.

The ideal candidate has a Nitec in Computer Networking / IT, Linux administration knowledge, and strong troubleshooting skills, with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Qualifications

• Nitec in Computer Networking / Information Technology.
• CCNA certification is an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems and administration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot Voice Access network infrastructure to ensure business objectives and network reliability targets are achieved.
• Perform fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution activities, as well as support project implementation and network upgrades.
• Collaborate with Transmission and cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner.
• Manage and respond to 24x7 BAU operational requests from internal stakeholders, ensuring service level commitments are met.
• Support, maintain, and administer telecommunications and IT equipment to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Participate in standby and on-call duties, including responding to after-hours activations and critical incidents.
• Maintain operational documentation and adhere to established processes and procedures.
• Perform any other duties and assignments as assigned by the Manager.
