Job summary

Singtel is hiring for a Network Support role in Singapore. The successful candidate will troubleshoot and support Voice Access network infrastructure, perform fault diagnosis, and assist with network upgrades.

You will collaborate with Transmission and cross-functional teams, manage 24x7 BAU requests, and maintain IT/telecom equipment to ensure high availability. The role requires Nitec in Networking/IT, Linux knowledge, and strong problem-solving, with good communication and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Nitec in Computer Networking / Information Technology required.
• CCNA certification is an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems and administration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot Voice Access network infrastructure to ensure business objectives and network reliability targets are achieved.
• Perform fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution activities, as well as support project implementation and network upgrades.
• Collaborate with Transmission and cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner.
• Manage and respond to 24x7 BAU operational requests from internal stakeholders, ensuring service level commitments are met.
• Support, maintain, and administer telecommunications and IT equipment to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Participate in standby and on-call duties, including responding to after-hours activations and critical incidents.
• Maintain operational documentation and adhere to established processes and procedures.
• Perform any other duties and assignments as assigned by the Manager.
