Singtel is seeking a solution-oriented engineer to support pre-Sales and project planning for telecommunications pipelines and cables. The role involves coordinating provisioning, upgrades, and migrations to ensure timely delivery, with strong emphasis on stakeholder liaison and fault management.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Engineering and at least 1 year in the telco industry, showing solid knowledge of telecom infrastructure and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering, preferable in Telecommunication, Info-communications Technology or its equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience in the Telecommunications industry.
• Strong working knowledge in telecommunications infrastructure.
• Independent, self-driven, highly customer focused and able to work under highly pressurized environment.
• Good communication skills, keen to learn and a team player.
• Willing to work non-office hours on an occasional basis and be on 24 x 7 hours standby alert for ad-hoc faults

Responsabilités

• Pre-Sales & Project Planning: Support bid quotations, routing proposals, site surveys and project planning for telecommunications pipeline and cable networks.
• Network Implementation: Coordinate new circuit provisioning, network upgrades, relocations, migrations and diversion works to ensure timely project delivery.
• Stakeholder & Site Coordination: Liaise with internal teams, consultants, developers and government authorities to resolve technical issues and facilitate project implementation.
• Network Operations & Fault Management: Monitor network performance through Network Management Systems (NMS), coordinate fault restoration and ensure service recovery within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Service Continuity & Reporting: Manage service incidents, maintain accurate network records, support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and provide regular project and incident updates.
• Vendor & Budget Management: Coordinate contractors, monitor project expenditure, verify completed works and manage vendor payment processes.

• Independent, self-driven, highly customer focused and able to work under highly pressurized environment especially during urgent circuit provisioning and emergency restoration of telecommunications services.
• Good communication skills, keen to learn and a team player
• Willing to work non-office hours on an occasional basis and be on 24 x 7 hours standby alert for ad-hoc faults
