Job summary

JDA WMS Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer / Construction Manager to lead Prefabricated Vertical Drain (PVD) and ground improvement works across multiple projects in Singapore.

The role oversees daily site operations, resources, subcontractors, and construction teams to ensure safe, on-schedule completion in line with technical and quality standards. Strong leadership and coordination skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in PVD installation, ground improvement, or geotechnical projects.
• Strong knowledge of PVD construction, site supervision, and project coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple small-scale projects and competing priorities.
• Able to independently manage site teams, subcontractors, equipment, and resources.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer / Construction Manager to lead and coordinate Prefabricated Vertical Drain (PVD) and ground improvement works across multiple projects.

The role will oversee daily site operations, project resources, subcontractors, and construction teams to ensure that works are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with the required technical and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise PVD installation and other ground improvement activities.
• Manage multiple small-scale projects concurrently, ensuring that project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.
• Oversee daily site operations, including manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and work sequencing.
• Monitor construction progress, productivity, and installation quality, and resolve technical or operational issues promptly.
• Lead and supervise site engineers, supervisors, workers, and subcontractors to ensure effective project execution.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, internal departments, and overseas headquarters on project matters.
• Review construction drawings, method statements, work programmes, site records, and project documentation.
• Ensure all works comply with project specifications, approved procedures, workplace safety requirements, and applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in PVD installation, ground improvement, or geotechnical construction projects.
• Strong practical knowledge of PVD construction, site supervision, and project coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to manage several small‑scale projects and competing priorities concurrently.
• Able to independently manage site teams, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and other project resources.
• Strong leadership, planning, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
