Job summary

wecruit pte. ltd. is seeking a Senior Engineer / Construction Manager to oversee Prefabricated Vertical Drain (PVD) and ground improvement projects.

You will manage site operations, coordinate project teams and subcontractors, and ensure work is completed safely on time and to quality standards. Responsibilities include supervising PVD installation, overseeing daily site activities, and liaising with clients and consultants to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master's in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in PVD installation and ground improvement.
• Hands-on experience in site supervision and project coordination.
• Experience leading site teams and coordinating subcontractors.

Senior Engineer / Construction Manager (Ground Improvement / PVD)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer / Construction Manager to oversee Prefabricated Vertical Drain (PVD) and ground improvement projects. You will manage site operations, coordinate project teams and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise PVD installation and ground improvement works.
• Manage multiple small-scale PVD projects at the same time.
• Oversee daily site operations, including manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, and work quality, and resolve site or technical issues.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, headquarters, and other stakeholders.
• Lead and supervise site engineers, supervisors, and workers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review construction drawings, work procedures, site records, and project documents.
• Ensure all works comply with project specifications, safety standards, and relevant regulations.

Requirements

• Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in PVD installation and ground improvement projects.
• Hands-on experience in site supervision, project coordination, and PVD construction.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage site teams, subcontractors, and project resources.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Experience in other ground improvement works such as Deep Cement Mixing (DCM), Diaphragm Wall, or Piling will be an added advantage.

Working hours: 8am-6pm (Mon - Sat)
