Job summary

PACC Offshore Services Holdings Limited is seeking an experienced HVAC design professional in Singapore. You will independently perform 2D/3D HVAC design, equipment sizing and mechanical design to meet Class and technical specs within schedule.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Marine Engineering (Mechanical) or Engineering and at least 8 years in Machinery/HVAC design for Marine/Offshore. Proficiency in AutoCAD, AVEVA, and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering (Mechanical) or Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Machinery/HVAC newbuild design in Marine/Offshore.
• Familiar with Class rules and statutory requirements.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, machinery, piping design.
• Good communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform HVAC design (2D & 3D), equipment sizing and mechanical design to comply with Class and technical specifications within schedule.
• Assist Section Project Lead in day-to-day operations.
• Perform assigned HVAC and mechanical tasks on schedule and with quality.
• Report to project on hours, schedule and support in HVAC/Mechanical issues.
• Collaborate with team members to drive overall project progress.
• Prepare and review HVAC 2D SLD/DLD design, 3D models and production drawings; provide site support.
• Coordinate with Shipyard/Consultant/Vendor/Class to Mechanical Project Lead/Mechanical Tech Lead.
• Handle projects: new building, repair, upgrading, conversion.

Job description

Independently perform HVAC design (2D & 3D), equipment sizing & mechanical design to comply with Class and Technical specification requirements within assigned schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Section Project Lead in day to day operations
• Perform the assigned HVAC & mechanical task on schedule and with quality
• Report to project for the assigned tasks (Man-hour/Schedule etc.) & support in HVAC & mechanical technical issue
• Collaborate with other team members to drive the overall project progress
• Prepare & Review HVAC 2D SLD/DLD design, 3D model, production related drawings and provide site supports
• Coordinate with Shipyard /Consultant / Vendor/ Class Responsible to Mechanical Project Section Lead/ Mechanical Technical Lead
• Project Handling: New building project, Repair, Upgrading, Conversion project
