Job summary

PACC Offshore Services Holdings Limited is seeking an experienced HVAC design engineer for our marine/offshore projects in Singapore. You will design in 2D and 3D, size equipment, and ensure compliance with Class and technical specifications within schedule.

Responsibilities include preparing drawings, coordinating with shipyards and vendors, and supporting site activities. Requires 8+ years in related fields and familiarity with AVEVA, AutoCAD, and Class rules.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in machinery/HVAC newbuilding design in the marine/offshore industry.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, MS Office and AVEVA.
• Knowledge of Class rules and statutory requirements.
• Strong HVAC/machinery piping design knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform HVAC design (2D & 3D), equipment sizing and mechanical design to comply with Class and Technical specifications within assigned schedule.
• Assist Section Project Lead in day-to-day operations.
• Perform assigned HVAC & mechanical tasks on schedule and with quality.
• Report to project for the assigned tasks and support HVAC & mechanical technical issues.
• Collaborate with team members to drive overall project progress.
• Prepare and review HVAC 2D SLD/DLD design, 3D model, production drawings and provide site support.
• Coordinate with shipyard/consultant/vendor/Class.
• Responsible to Mechanical Project Section Lead/Mechanical Technical Lead.
• Handle projects: New buildings, repairs, upgrades, conversions.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Section Project Lead in day to day operations
• Perform the assigned HVAC & mechanical task on schedule and with quality
• Report to project for the assigned tasks (Man-hour/Schedule etc.) & support in HVAC & mechanical technical issue
• Collaborate with other team members to drive the overall project progress
• Prepare & Review HVAC 2D SLD/DLD design, 3D model, production related drawings and provide site supports
• Coordinate with Shipyard /Consultant / Vendor/ Class
• Responsible to Mechanical Project Section Lead/ Mechanical Technical Lead
• Project Handling: New building project, Repair, Upgrading, Conversion project

Key Requirements
