T.Y.Lin International Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to lead the preparation of detailed design reports, calculations and drawings for major projects in Singapore. You will prepare submissions to statutory authorities, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and lead tender documentation and bid preparations.

You will also participate in the tendering and delivery of projects, provide training and mentoring to junior staff, and manage design coordination, project

Formación

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized University and eligible for registration with the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore)
• A minimum of 5 years of design experience
• Conversant with local codes and authority submission procedures
• Excellent interpersonal, good written and verbal communication skills
• Good knowledge of common structural design software
• Working experience in engineering design consulting practice on building, geotechnical, infrastructure, rail or road projects
• Good project management skills and strong analytical skills
• Able to work under pressure with good time management skills

About the role

Lead in the preparation of detailed design reports, calculations and drawings. Prepare submissions to statutory agencies and authorities. Requirements:

Structure:

• Experienced in the design and design management of major building projects such as residential buildings, commercial, institutional, high-rise buildings, schools, etc.
• Familiar with precast and prestressed concrete, steelworks, PPVC and MET will be an added advantage.

Civil:

• Experienced in the design and design management of major civil infrastructure projects such as roads, drains, sewers, utilities, road and rail alignments.
