Job summary

Good Job Creations (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineering lead to design, review, and supervise complex projects. You will ensure compliance with codes, prepare submissions for authorities, and provide technical recommendations throughout from concept to detailed design.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, PE registration in Singapore, and a Design for Safety certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• At least 10 years of experience in civil/structural design and project management.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PEB Singapore) or equivalent.
• Certification as a Design for Safety Professional.
• Proficient in engineering analysis software, BIM, and geotechnical tools.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, checking, and review of civil and structural works from concept to detailed design.
• Provide Qualified Person (QP) supervisory services for assigned projects.

• Mentor engineers and designers for professional development.
• Monitor progress to meet schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, checking, and review of civil and structural works from concept development through detailed design stages.
• Provide Qualified Person (QP) supervisory services for assigned projects.
• Ensure compliance with relevant local codes, regulations, and statutory authority requirements.
• Prepare and submit documentation to statutory agencies and authorities.
• Perform structural and civil engineering analyses and provide technical recommendations and solutions.
• Manage project planning, scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and resource coordination.
• Coordinate closely with stakeholders across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
• Prepare tender documents, technical specifications, and related project documentation.
• Ensure Design for Safety requirements are implemented throughout project execution.
• Supervise and manage site activities, including coordination of Resident Engineers (RE) and Resident Technical Officers (RTO).
• Oversee design management and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and external consultants.
• Mentor and guide engineers and designers to support their professional development.
• Monitor project progress to ensure successful completion within agreed schedules and budgets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in civil and structural engineering design and construction project management.
• Registered Professional Engineer with the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore, Specialized Professional Engineer, or completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Examination (FEE) with preparation for the Practice of Professional Engineering Examination.
• Certification as a Design for Safety Professional.
• Proficient in engineering analysis and design software, BIM software, and geotechnical engineering software.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, contract administration, stakeholder coordination, and technical leadership.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
