Job summary

Watson Farley & Williams LLP in Singapore is seeking a business development professional to support the growth of our APAC Energy group. This is a true business partnering role, working with partners and lawyers to manage client relationships and develop new business.

The successful candidate will drive on RFPs, pitches, and capability statements, execute profile-raising activities through digital channels and events, and stay informed on market trends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development and marketing within a professional services environment.
• Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience managing pitches, proposals, and business development initiatives.
• Experience using CRM and marketing platforms; knowledge of InterAction and e-marketing tools is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience working in a regional or international business environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead on RFPs, pitches, and capability statements, in particular within the Energy and Projects sector.
• Execution of profile-raising activities to support market position through appropriate digital channels, events and conferences, strategic directories, league tables and awards.
• Staying well-informed and engaged on the latest industry/sector developments and market trends.
• Contributing to the development of long-term profitable relationships by supporting partners in the management of key clients.
• Preparation of content for various marketing collateral such as brochures, website content and bios.
• Management of the marketing database to ensure proposals and deals/transactions are kept up-to-date.
