Job summary

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations Pte Ltd seeks a senior electrical engineer to serve as the site technical authority for electrical infrastructure up to 230kV, shaping strategy, standards, and protection philosophies. You will lead long‑term capacity, reliability, and technology deployment to support manufacturing growth.

You will own reliability programs, perform risk analyses, and drive major capital projects with robust technical assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• Registered Professional Engineer with Singapore PE board.
• 15+ years in high/medium/low-voltage electrical systems in complex manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as site technical authority for electrical infrastructure up to 230kV and set design criteria.
• Lead long-term electrical capacity planning, reliability, and asset lifecycle.
• Provide assurance for major capital projects, substations, and power quality solutions.
• Own site-wide electrical reliability, risk management, and FMEA.
• Lead investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions for incidents.
• Ensure commissioning, energization, and safe integration of new systems.
• Influence engineering investments to improve safety, compliance, and continuity.
• Champion SMART power systems, data analytics, and digital twins in facilities.
• Mentor senior technical talent and govern engineering reviews and standards.
• Engage with utilities, authorities, and suppliers on electrical reliability matters.
