Job summary

You will lead long-term capacity planning, drive reliability initiatives, and provide technical assurance for major capital projects within a cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing environment. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 15+ years of relevant experience, and a Singapore Professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Electrical Engineering with the Professional Engineers Board Singapore.
• Minimum 15 years in high-/medium-/low-voltage electrical design, commissioning, operations, maintenance, protection, reliability, and capacity planning in semiconductor/manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the site technical authority for electrical infrastructure up to 230kV and set design criteria and engineering standards.
• Lead long-term planning for electrical capacity, reliability, and technology deployment to support manufacturing growth.
• Provide technical recommendations and assurance for capital projects and major modifications.
• Own site-wide electrical reliability, risk management, and lifecycle management.
• Lead investigations and root-cause analyses for high-impact incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure safe integration of new systems and maintain compliance with electrical safety standards.
• Influence critical engineering and investment decisions to strengthen safety, continuity, and sustainability.
• Mentor senior technical talent and share standards, reference designs, and lessons learned.
• Engage with utilities, regulatory authorities, and OEMs on complex electrical infrastructure matters.
