Job summary

Micron Technology Asia Operations Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Senior/Staff engineer to lead dry etch research for next-generation NAND devices. You will work with process integration and other teams to develop innovative solutions and drive the process roadmap to meet program and yield goals.

You will conduct fundamental research, maintain a pilot line, and support transfers to production while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven research and development aptitude in science/engineering.
• Experience with experimental design and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to guide strategic directions using technical knowledge.
• Experience with root-cause analysis and model-based approaches.
• Familiarity with statistics and SPC is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet commitments.
• Capability to multitask and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop dry etch processes to meet product requirements.
• Optimize processes to reduce cost and variability.
• Collaborate with process integration and development teams.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and drive vendor solutions.
• Perform fundamental research for next-generation products.
• Maintain a technology development pilot manufacturing line.
• Support process transfer to production facilities with travel.
