Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Staff/Senior engineer to join our NAND research and development dry etch team in Singapore. You will develop and optimize dry etch processes, collaborate across process areas, and drive technology development from pilot to production while meeting yield goals.

The role emphasizes strong data analysis, experimental design, and the application of AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and quality. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• MS + 3-4 years of relevant experience involving dry etch, or PhD + 1-2 years.
• BS with 5 years of relevant dry etch experience.
• Experience in experimental design and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Developing dry etch processes to meet electrical and physical requirements.
• Optimizing dry etch processes to reduce cost and variability.
• Collaborating with process integration to develop new solutions.
• Conducting root-cause/failure mode analyses to improve hardware.
• Performing fundamental research to drive next-gen products.
• Maintaining a technology development pilot manufacturing line.
• Support process transfer to production facilities with potential travel.
