Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a Staff/Principal Engineer to lead the Dry Etch unit process and critical module development for next-generation NAND.

You will develop innovative dry etch processes to meet stringent structural and electrical specs, collaborating with Wet Etch, CVD, Diffusion, Metals, Lithography and CMP teams. You will present roadmaps and mentor peers, driving cross-functional solutions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated aptitude for a research and development environment.
• 3–10 years of dry etch process development experience.
• 2–3 years of NAND/DRAM/Logic module development experience in cross-functional projects.
• Knowledge of plasma physics, plasma chemistry, transport or surface phenomena.
• Demonstrated leadership in problem solving and project management.
• Understanding of various plasma dry etch reactors (RF sources, chemistries).
• Expertise in statistical process control and analysis.
• Experience solving scalability problems of deep high aspect ratio etches; supplier interactions.
• Data science basics / Python coding / AI tools preferred.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, JMP/SAS) and ability to integrate AI insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead dry etch unit process and critical module development.
