Job summary

Neste is seeking a Cost Estimator / Senior Cost Estimator for its Project Control team in Singapore. You will develop project cost estimates for capital projects, create estimating plans, and work with other colleagues to ensure reliable total cost for investments.

The role emphasizes risk analysis, validation of estimates from EPCM contractors, tool development, data maintenance, and collaboration with the global Neste Cost and Estimating team to improve capital efficiency across the company.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in cost estimation or project controls.
• BSc/MSc in a relevant field or equivalent.
• Experience with international cost estimating standards and capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop project cost estimates for capital projects progressing through the Neste capital project system.
• Participate as a proactive team member of the integrated project team throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create estimating plans, cost estimates and compile basis of cost estimate.
• Conduct cost risk analysis as appropriate for type of cost estimate.
• Validate cost estimates done by external EPCM contractors, when applicable.
• Participate in development and maintenance of cost estimating tools and processes.
• Maintain and use current and applicable cost estimating data and systems.
• Perform project reconciliation studies to improve quality and accuracy of tools and methods.
• Work with the global Neste Cost and Estimating team to build consistency.
