Job summary

Caliber8 Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Marine Sales professional with a Project Engineer or Marine Engineering background. The role focuses on developing commercial offers, pricing strategies, and contract management for shipyard projects.

You will coordinate with assets, operations, and legal teams, manage client relationships in shipping and insurance, and oversee subcontractors while travelling about 20% for offshore projects.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop commercial offers for small to medium size projects, coordinating with the assets and operations divisions.
• Work with bid teams to develop creative commercial / pricing strategies.
• Negotiate and manage Client contracts and Subcontractor Agreements.
• Supervise the project coordinators' and commercial coordinators' project and office-based workload with respect to cost control, billing, and subcontractor management.
• Work closely with legal counsel (internal / external) on all contractual and legal matters related to salvage and wreck contracts.
• Maintain close coordination with the company's financial team to understand and present revenue / profit status throughout the year.
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships in the insurance and shipping industries.
• Manage and develop third party and subcontractor network.
• Obtain and share market intelligence industry news.

Are you an experienced Marine Sales professional with a Project Engineer or Marine Engineering background?

This is an exciting opportunity for somneone who has previously handled commercial roles within shipyards, ideally a Naval Architect background or role that involved going offshore for projects.
