The GMP Group is seeking a results‑driven Tender Manager to oversee end‑to‑end marine project bids from opportunity identification through submission. You will liaise with clients and brokers, build robust cost estimates, and coordinate across departments to ensure compliant, timely tender submissions.
Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in business or engineering with 3+ years in the marine sector, understand marine equipment and legal aspects, and are willing to travel overseas as required.
This role involves managing the full lifecycle of project tenders and bids in the marine sector. You will liaise with clients and brokers to identify opportunities, analyze tender specifications, source vendors, evaluate quotes, and build comprehensive project estimates. You will coordinate internally across departments, support contract negotiations, monitor project budgets and timelines, and maintain strategic partnerships with clients, brokers, and suppliers.
Liaise with clients and brokers to identify new project opportunities
Review tender specifications and enquiries, and prepare cost breakdowns according to standard structures
Issue RFPs/RFQs and manage technical and commercial clarifications with suppliers
Analyze vendor quotes for technical compliance and pricing competitiveness
Collate forex, material, and labor data to build comprehensive project estimates
Prepare and finalize detailed cost sheets for approval and ensure timely submission of all financial documents
Identify critical items and perform basic project risk assessments
Collate tender inputs from internal departments and ensure quality, compliance, and on-time delivery of submissions
Manage budgets, milestone invoicing, and ensure for awarded projects, and monitor cost shifting and financial health
Track equipment delivery timelines and manage milestone payouts and vendor schedules
Diploma in business or engineering field
More than 3 years of working experience in marine sector
Familiar with technical knowledge of Marine Equipment and Material
Understand Legal, Insurance, Drawings, etc.
Able to travel overseas
