Key Responsibilities
1. Enterprise Client Acquisition & Sourcing Strategy
- Lead commercial expansion and manage the regional client pipeline within the hyperscale data center and cloud infrastructure domain.
- Proactively engage with the infrastructure procurement and cloud teams of top-tier global computing power enterprises, including but not limited to ByteDance, Alibaba, Tencent, Google, and Microsoft.
- Map client technical parameters (e.g., Power Usage Effectiveness / PUE, Megawatt computing capacity) and translate them into custom commercial models and pricing proposals.
- Maintain senior-level stakeholder relationships, leading regular corporate visits and contract renewals to secure long-term recurring revenue.
2. Green Greenfield Project Deployment & Commercialization
- Collaborate with internal technical R&D and project management offices to structure integrated solutions combining clean energy microgrids with data center facilities.
- Direct the end-to-end commercial negotiation process, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), lease frameworks, commercial terms, and contract drafting.
- Own regional sales targets and ensure smooth project delivery by bridging communication gaps between enterprise clients and project deployment teams.
3. Strategic Partner Ecosystem Development
- Identify and onboard high-quality supply chain partners across APAC, including data center equipment vendors, technical consultants, engineering firms (EPCs), and infrastructure financiers.
- Build governance, screening, and evaluation frameworks for third-party partners to clear compliance requirements and establish mutual profit‑sharing structures.
4. Market Insights & Intelligence
- Continuously monitor Southeast Asian regulatory landscapes, green energy grid compliance policies, and competitor movements to advise executive leadership on regional positioning.
III. Requirements (Strict Criteria for MyCareersFuture Screening)
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or above, ideally in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical), Business Management, International Trade, or Renewable Energy fields.
- Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of professional corporate experience, with at least 3–5 years specifically focused on overseas data center business development, colocation sales, or cloud infrastructure expansion.
- Client Network: Proven, referenceable track record of existing relationships with infrastructure teams at major hyperscalers or Tier‑1 colocation providers is highly preferred.
- Industry Domain: Familiarity with data center business models, PUE metrics, energy storage systems (ESS), or corporate Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) will be a massive advantage.
- Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is required to lead commercial negotiations, review legal contracts, and manage communications with regional headquarters and North Asian stakeholders.
- Travel Flexibility: Must hold a valid passport with no travel restrictions and be highly adaptable to short‑term business travel (up to 2 weeks per trip) within the APAC region.
