Job summary

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations is seeking a Senior Process Development Engineer in Singapore to drive CMP process development for advanced 3D NAND nodes. You will optimize CMP steps, collaborate across regions, mentor teammates, and contribute to AI-enabled process improvements.

The role requires a PhD with semiconductor CMP experience, strong communication, and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary projects in a fast-paced environment. Collaboration with manufacturing is essential.

Qualifications

• PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics with minimum 1yr of relevant semiconductor experience in CMP.
• Hands-on CMP equipment operation experience (AMAT LKP, EBARA-300X) and related metrology and polishing tech.
• Understanding of integration and constraints related to film deposition and upstream/downstream processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CMP processes to improve product quality and reliability for 3D NAND.
• Improve process margins to meet mature yield goals for 3D NAND parts.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to meet integration requirements for current and next-generation nodes.
• Lead complex projects, provide technical guidance, and mentor new hires.
• Integrate AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
