Job summary

Elitez Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to lead design and construction management of industrial facility buildings in Singapore. Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the design and construction management of various Civil and Structural Systems for Industrial Facility Buildings.

• Manage the design of both Concrete and Steel Structures, ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards.

• Assist Project Managers in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Prepare, issue, and evaluate tender packages to ensure alignment with project specifications.

• Collaborate with the Architectural, Process, Mechanical, Electrical disciplines, and Quantity Surveyors to ensure integrated design solutions.

• Address and resolve any site-related issues that may arise during the construction process.

• Coordinate and liaise with Consultants, Sub-contractors, and other project stakeholders.

• Ensure timely submission of documents and obtain necessary approvals from local authorities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Design and Construction, with a focus on industrial buildings. Experience with precast concrete and long-span roof trusses is preferred.

• Hands-on site experience, including piling works, substructure, and superstructure works involving reinforced concrete, steel structures, and precast components.

• Proven ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Process, Mechanical, Electrical engineers, and Quantity Surveyors.

• Strong experience liaising with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure project alignment.

• Proficient in reviewing and checking shop drawings for precast and steel structures, with the ability to perform detailed design work and collaborate with computer-aided design (CAD) teams.

• Familiarity with local authority requirements for civil and structural design submissions and approvals.

• Must have experience with cleanroom construction

• Must be open to working after office hours if required
