Job summary

ACHIEVE CAREER CONSULTANT PTE LTD is seeking a Senior Civil & Structural Engineer for a West Singapore-based engineering and construction firm. You will design civil and structural systems for industrial facilities, lead concrete and steel design, and coordinate with multiple disciplines.

We require 8+ years of design and construction experience, especially with precast and long-span roof trusses, plus strong liaison with consultants and contractors. Salary will be discussed based on experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and professional registration.
• 8+ years of design and construction experience in industrial buildings.
• Experience with precast and long-span roof trusses; site work.

Responsibilities

Our client is a Engineering and construction company that specializes designing and delivering mega and significant projects. They are looking for an experienced Senior Civil & Structural Engineer for their expanding business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in all facets of the design and construction management of civil and structural systems for industrial facility buildings.
• Lead the design of concrete and steel structures.
• Support project managers in completing projects within budget, on time, and maintaining quality standards.
• Prepare, issue, and evaluate tender packages.
• Coordinate with architectural, process, mechanical, electrical disciplines, and quantity surveyors.
• Address site issues related to design.
• Liaise with consultants and subcontractors.
• Ensure timely submission and approval from local authorities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of design and construction experience, preferably in industrial buildings with expertise in precast and long-span roof trusses.
• Hands-on site experience with piling, sub-structure, and superstructure works for reinforced concrete, steel structures, and precast structures.
• Proven ability to work closely with process, mechanical, electrical disciplines, and quantity surveyors.
• Skilled in liaising with consultants and contractors.
• Proficient in checking shop drawings for precast and steel structures, performing detailed design work, collaborating within a team, and providing details for the computer-aided design team.
• Well-versed in local authority requirements for civil and structural submissions.
